A passion for tourism
The Belgian family Lambrecht established the Three Corners Company in 1987: Frans, Cecile and their sons. The company name refers to the three sons Didier, Christophe and Pascal who were totally and enthusiastically engaged in the future projects. They recognized the tremendous tourism opportunities of the paradisiacal Red Sea with its splendid sun, its potential for diving, snorkelling and windsurfing combined with the tranquil relaxed nature of the area.
Very soon the Lambrecht family obtained the management of The Three Corners Amal Village, specially for divers and windsurfers, and The Three Corners Empire Hotel, a luxury 3-star hotel in the downtown area of Hurghada.
In 1999, the Lambrecht family unfolded their own wings and, together with other Belgian investors, they participated in the newly developed El Gouna destination and obtained the management over the Rihana Resort. The four-star de luxe Three Corners Rihana Resort is an architectural masterpiece of 268 rooms that later on expanded with The Three Corners Rihana Inn, a 4-star complex with 166 rooms. In total The Three Corners Rihana Resort features now 434 rooms, 3 swimming pools, an own beach and laguna and all necessary facilities for a tremendous and luxury vacation time.
In March 2004, The Three Corners opened the 4-star Prestige The Three Corners Ocean View Hotel situated in the Abu Tig Marina of El Gouna. In the last quarter of 2004, the extension of the Ocean View Hotel opened. The total number of rooms of the hotel is now 236.
In the meantime, the Empire Hotels were grouped under the new brand name of Triton Hotels to differentiate them from 4- and 5-star The Three Corners Resorts.
The three Triton Hotels, all situated in Hurghada - The Triton Beach Resort***, The Triton Empire Hotel*** and The Triton Empire Inn**.
Other development of The Three Corners Hotels & Resorts concentrated on the areas of Sharm El Sheikh and Taba. Already in 2002, they opened the 4-star The Three Corners Palmyra Resort in Nabq Bay, Sharm El Sheikh, and in March 2004 the 5-star Kiroseiz Three Corners Resort in Naama Bay, also in Sharm El Sheikh. Another project is situated in Sharm el Sheikh as well: the St. George, a four-star hotel with 262 rooms, near the centre, which opened in January 2006.
In Taba the 4-star The Three Corners El Wekala Resort opened in November 2004 with 218 rooms.
In July 2007 the five-star Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort in Marsa Alam with 300 rooms received the first guests while the Kiroseiz Three Corners Resort expanded with 340 rooms and a highly appreciate Kids and Junior Waterpark. In addition, in November 2008 is the opening foreseen from The Three Corners Sunny Beach Resort, between El Gouna and Hurghada, that will reach a total of 700 rooms.
